How Often Should I Treat My Gates?
Depending on the type and style of gate you decide to have installed, we usually recommend that any wooden gate is ideally treated at least once a year, with a protective sealant oil such as a good quality decking oil.
For metal gates, we recommend that this is given a
new coat of paint ideally once every 2 years at least, although this can be slightly longer if needed.
Just like with fencing, you'll get more back for your money if you protect your gate on a regular basis.
With the tough UK weather causing materials to warp, split and break down over time, it's imperative that they are protected from these elements to ensure that they last as long as possible without needs replacement or repair work.

Can I Create My Own Gate Design?
Sure, within reason.
While we may not be able to provide the exact gate you have in mind, we'll go out of our way to source the nearest style available and where possible we will be able to make custom changes to get your gate, to get it looking as close as possible to the one you have in mind

We'll be more than happy to spend time with you, talking through your plans and ideas and we should then be able to recommend our own ideas and solutions for you to work with.
If you're happy with our proposals, we'll then go ahead and start getting to work in sourcing and then creating the gate type you have in mind, which will give your property the look and feel you've been after.
Do You Supply Automatic Gates?
Yes we do.
Any of our gates that we provide and supply can be automated as this is all controlled by an electric motor.
We'll be happy to source and install the motor for you as part of the overall installation process
